When the Fouth Amendment meets the Second

Supreme Court Expands Reach of Eminent Domain

Looks like there is going to be a conflict of amendments when the right of the Government to take your home (4th Amendment) meets the homeowner's right to bear arms (2nd Amendment).

In any case, this is why who is appointed to the judiciary is important. Per DJ Drummond of Polipundit: "Do not ever, ever, vote for a liberal Democrat or fake Republican again. Your home may depend on it."

Justice O'Connor wrote this stinger in her dissent:

"Any property may now be taken for the benefit of another private party, but the fallout from this decision will not be random," The beneficiaries are likely to be those citizens with disproportionate influence and power in the political process, including large corporations and development firms."

It's a sad day in America.
