"HAIFA, Israel - Israel massed tanks and troops on the border Friday and warned civilians to flee Hezbollah-controlled southern Lebanon as it prepared for a likely ground invasion to set up a deep buffer zone.
So far, Israel's 10-day offensive in Lebanon has mostly been fought by air and naval forces. Perhaps signaling a further increase in fighting, Israel also called up more reservists Friday.
NBC News’ Rick Francona said many of the troops massing on the border were likely combat engineers."

UPDATE: Condi Rice: "Syria knows what it needs to do and Hezbollah is the source of the problem.". Right! Israel isn't going to stop until Hezbollah is a problem no more - which is to say - dead and gone.
