More than Rumors, and despite denials from Fox, Lou Dobbs is coming to Fox News and specifically Fox News Business.
An announcement should be forthcoming this week.
The meeting between Fox's Ailes and Dobbs was reported last month.
I'm told that it was at that meeting where Dobbs was promised unfettered access to voice his opinion.
Carrie Prejean slams Larry King. After repeatedly telling King that she could not discuss the terms of her settlement with the Miss America Pageant, and the old coot continued to press - a violation of journalistic professionalism, she calls him inappropriate.
Next Larry's screener sends a gay caller in to set her up with an obviously "seminar call" about gay marriage. Carrie then rips the mic off.
Watch:
This whole interview was obviously a set up. Prejean's people tell me that it was fully understood and agreed on by King's people that no questions would be asked about the settlement, as she is bound by agreement not to discuss it. Additionally there were to be no callers.
Obviously when King tried to go after her anyway - a King trademark - his people decided to get even and set up a "Hey Carrie whatcha think about gay marriage?" call. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if it came from one of King's staff.
Americans will agree that this was wrong and that too is obvious by the dismal ratings of Larry King Live.
A little late on this, but it's hilarious. The Coast Guard was conducting an exercise on the Potomac River today and CNN thought it was real. Watch them try to shift the blame.
White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs:
“Let’s understand that best I can tell there was reporting based on listening to a police scanner that was not verified, and then it was on television and now we’ve raced back to find out that it’s a training exercise. So I think it appears as if a lot of this might have been avoided,” Gibbs said.
Gibbs told reporters that the Coast Guard was holding a news conference to explain the exercise. “Hopefully CNN will go,” Gibbs quipped. “My only caution would be that before we report things like this, checking would be good.”
