Via Michelle Malkin - CNN's 25th anniversary! Blogging the achievements!

Thanks for the Memories!

Check out the above link for her take on CNN 'Shining Moments' you won't hear them brag about. My favorite is the absolute colusion and sedition they commited 'bedding down' with Saddam just to 'get stories'. As far as I'm concerned they forever tainted themselves then and there as a serious news organization. The ratings seem to agree.

When does a Free Press Commit Treason?

C.I.A. Expanding Terror Battle Under Guise of Charter Flights

When does a "free media" commit treason? When they blab everything they hear, including top secret plans and operations in their paper so that even the enemy can read it.

The N.Y. Times has consistantly used the "Freedom of the Press" mantra to do whatever it can to undermine the Global War on Terror, and subsequently undermine the Bush administration. Perhaps it's time for a couple of new laws to reign them in. Freedom of the press shouldn't come at a cost to freedom, which is anything that undermines that freedom and our struggle against those who would seek to attack it.

Poll Shows Social Security Reform IS Supported!

Social Security Reform Backed in New Poll

Why does the media keep telling us that Social Security Reform isn't popular with the people? Simple, it's because Bush thought of it. Since it's Bush's program it simply cannot be something the people want, after all MSM wants us to think that President Bush is 'out of step' with the needs of the people.

But new poll numbers tell another story.

(Waiting on MSM to catch on....tick....tick....)

Vice President Dick Cheney - Go Get 'Em Tiger!

Vice President Dick Cheney
Originally uploaded by macsmind.
According to CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday he was offended by Amnesty International's condemnation of the United States for what it called "serious human rights violations" at Guantanamo Bay.

Mr Cheney said:

"I think the fact of the matter is, the United States has done more to advance the cause of freedom, has liberated more people from tyranny over the course of the 20th century and up to the present day than any other nation in the history of the world," he said.

"Just in this administration, we've liberated 50 million people from the Taliban in Afghanistan and from Saddam Hussein in Iraq, two terribly repressive regimes that slaughtered hundreds of thousands of their own people."

Last week Amnesty Internation referred to Guantanamo as a "Gulag". Hmmm, and where was AI during Saddam's reign of terror?

AI reponds:

"He doesn't take torture seriously; he doesn't take the Geneva Convention seriously; he doesn't take due process rights seriously; and he doesn't take international law seriously.

"And that is more important than whether he takes Amnesty International seriously."

Got news for you "Amnesty International", he takes two towers and 3000 Americans dead because of the rats you defend VERY serously! Get a clue. When you make idiotic and totally bogus charges about something ONLY because you have a particular liberal agenda NOBODY is going to take you seriously. Quite honestly, I think most of the world is on to your drivel. The Washington Post is!

Damn, just when the guy is trying to repair his legacy, this book comes out and makes him look like a spoiled little brat! Seems Matt Drudge has all the "early stuff" on it's content. It isn't pretty. But I think it is a cleverly designed ploy to distance Hillary from Bill. It's like, "Ok, Bill was a womanizing little weasel, but that Hillary - she is the 'long-suffering' REAL deal! It's just an idea, haven't read the book yet. But ANYTHING that the Washington Post reports that is negative on the Clintons is ALWAYS suspect in my book!

Garry Trudeau - Macsmind Stupid Liberal # 15

Garry Trudeau

Art Linkletter used to do this show, “Kids Say the Darnest Things”.

I would like to do a show. How about, “Liberals say and do the most stupidest things imaginable.

Now really, I’m not being mean. I don’t personally hate liberal people. But you have to admit you just about have to be drunk when one of them is speaking. It’s the only way you could possibly fall for all the stupid things they do and say. Since I don’t drink I am always finding myself saying when I’m caught listening to a Senator Joe Biden or (god forbid), Hillary Clinton – “What in the hell??? “Do they really believe that crap?”

So my question is, why are liberals so, well, ….stupid. I don’t mean “cute” kind of stupid, but blatantly stupid. For instance take cartoonist (or something like that), Gary Tradeau who writes the Doonsbury comic was interviewed back in March in Editor and Publisher. The interview is here. But this statement he made is typical of the kind crap liberals throw out all the time and hope it sticks.

"I'm not sure it's commonly understood to what lengths this (Bush) administration is willing to go to bypass the 'filter,' as Bush calls the media," the cartoonist replied in an e-mail interview. "The president made it official Wednesday -- his Justice Department, fresh from signing off on torture, apparently thinks propaganda's OK too."

Here again is stupidity at its finest. “Torture”? Mr. Trudeau you haven’t a clue what torture is. If you think Abu Grab was torture, then you are definitely the stupidest man on the face of the earth.

But it is precisely this kind of drivel which gets spewed all the time from liberals. Statements so stupid they are indefensible - although a liberal will try.

Let us also not forget the fallen civilians in Iraq Freedom

My prayers are with their loved ones and to all who give all in fighting for freedom.

Eddie played the 'straight guy' to the zany cast of characters of Hootersville. As far as I'm concerned this was TV at it's finest and it's glory hasn't been repeated since. How did Eddie want to be remembered?

"I don't really care how I am remembered as long as I bring happiness and joy to people."

Eddie you brought me a lot of joy! May God hold you in the palm of his hand!

Mother of Slain Soldier Denied Gold Star Membership

This week's IDIOTS ON PARADE award goes to American Gold Star Mothers Inc. For their absolute idiotic response to the rejected application for membership of Ligaya Lagman, who lost her son, Army SSG Anthony Lagman in Afghanistan last year. Seems her application was rejected becauses although she has lived in the US legally for 20 years and pays taxes, she isn't a US citizen. So what was American Gold Star Mothers response from their President?

"There's nothing we can do because that's what our organization says: You have to be an American citizen," national President Ann Herd said Thursday. "We can't go changing the rules every time the wind blows."

....Tempted to say, "Why don't you just blow....." Oh never mind....

However, seems that this 'organization' receives Fed money, and now with media and a few congress types involve, wanna bet they change the rules?

In any case, they are our winners for the week....Congrats!

P.S. Hire a PR firm -

The Truth about Mohammed and Islam

While I'm on the subject of Islam, let's get the facts straight. This link will dispel a lot of untruths about comparisons between Islam and Christianity that you have been fed by the media. In part:

"Islam teaches that the true God is the Muslim deity, Allah. All other views of God are false because the Koran teaches, "The true religion with God is Islam."1 The Koran emphasizes of Allah: "There is no God but he, the Living, the everlasting."2

But who is Allah? Is he anything like the God of Christian faith? As we will see, the Muslim God is entirely different from the biblical God."

Ahhh Shaddddap Department!

From MSNBC via ((A)bsurd Press) - Muslims rant about the defunked Newsweek Story about Koran desecration. Yet it was also noted that during the protest: "Women in black veils marched through Kashmir, where schools and businesses were closed as part of the protest, and set American flags and copies of the U.S. Constitution ablaze."

So where is the outrage? They are burning our flag and copies of our beloved Constitution, Oh, that right, they've been doing that all along. After all, we are the GREAT SATAN.

Oh well, as promised previously, I now flush another Koran down the toilet. My wife is really getting annoyed as it clogs the pipes!

The Beginning of the End for Frist

Majority Wimp Bill Frist had better get his day-job back. Two defeats in one week - first with the so-called compromise, and now with yet another Democratic stall method on the Bolton closure, Frist has shown that he hasn't got what it takes. If you can't lead with all the cards in your hand then it's time to fold 'em. Mr. Frist, I call for you to fold.

Attack of the RINOS - Part 36...

Deal Reached to Avert Judicial Showdown

Chalk another one up for the RINOS! These guys - McCain, Lindsey, are the best friends Howard Dean could have hoped for.

What is up with the Republicans, caving in to public opinion, the media and a minority 'mob' in the Senate? Is this what we worked so hard to obtain? A wimpy majority leader, a wimpier majority?

I sorry but the Republican Party needs a serious "enema", and then a flush or two. After this sorry show it might happen around 2006. What can I say, we can't stand prosperity.

Karzai on the Karpet?

The media is all a buzz with Afghan President Hamid Karzai getting "tough" with the U.S. demanding this and that. He was at Boston University today getting an honorary degree along with John F'ing Kerry.

He meets Monday with President Bush - wanna bet that the meeting isn't going to be as one-sided as the media is playing it up to be. Make no mistake, Karzai is going to get reminded "we brought you into the world stage - we can take you out!"

First, Mr. Karzai get your act together on the Opium problem, second - keep your trap shut about what we are doing (or rather not doing) in 'your country'.

He may come in like a lion, but will leave like a lamb with his tail between his legs, although I don't see the media portraying it that way. Make no mistake, Bush will make it very clear that the U.S. is still in charge.

15 Minutes of Blogging

Ho-hum blogs.....

I've noticed something, well, disturbing trend since the 2004 election. That being the overall boring-ness of blogs. Blogs like Little Green Footballs, Polipundit, who led the way in breaking "Rather-gate", seemed resigned to boring and 'boorish' diatribes on "hotlinking" (give me a break), and the lastest babe in bikini pictures.

Back in the early days of the internet (cir. 1991-1992), I was considered one of the most prolific newsgroup posters' on the web. It was fanastic. Journalism students like me found it fantastic that from a computer and a 1200 baud modem we could put out a works that would be read world-wide. It was a very exciting time. Yet as more and more people joined in the fun the postings became more and more ridiculous, and bane. Newsgroups had their 15 minutes. Now they are nothing more than breeding grounds for porn posting and other less than edifying things.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but blogging may have had it's fifteen minutes of fame as well.

The Elite Snobs Attack

When the media get's "C-BSed" and caught with their pants down, they begin to really throw out the garbage. Rehashing the previously debunked charge by former CNN news chief Eason Jordan that soldiers were targeting journalist. On a TV show, "The Point", last Friday, Newspaper Guild President Linda Foley complained:

"What outrages me as a representative of journalists is that there’s not more outrage about the number, and the brutality, and the cavalier nature of the U.S. military toward the killing of journalists in Iraq."

Hrrmmm, the twit continues....

"They target and kill journalists ... uh, from other countries, particularly Arab countries like Al -, like Arab news services like Al-Jazeera, for example. They actually target them and blow up their studios with impunity. ...

Newsweek lies and people die. CBS - BS's and the rest of the media comes to their defense. No accountability here, only elitism - "How Dare You Question Us?"... Posted by Hello

Newsweek lied, and people died. Now Newsweek is trying to weasel out of the mess (note the MSM never admits a mistake or outright fabrication?). Heads should roll, but they won't. Dan Rather got to retire instead of being fired. I expect that the folks at Newsweek will follow the same M.O. Sad since this week they cover George Washington....

Time to Rein-in the RINO's

A Republican President, a Republican majority - but at what cost? Must we have a majority with "fake players" such as Senator McCain, Senator Voinovich, and others who do nothing but ride the fence on conservative issues?

Voinovich's obstruction should be grounds for a trip to the woodshed - politically speaking. He should be religated to persona-non-gratis statis for any future support and after Bolton is confirmed - and he will be - I think it's going to be payback time.

I for one, am getting sick to the bottom of my BVD's with these clowns. McCain has been a hemroid since 2000 and will continue to be one. He has his eyes on 2008, but guess what John - we ain't going to forget. Not ever.
