Remember this from Johnathan Alter in Newsweak?
"I learned this week that on Dec. 6, Bush summoned Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger and executive editor Bill Keller to the Oval Office in a futile attempt to talk them out of running the story. The Times will not comment on the meeting, but one can only imagine the president’s desperation."
Well, it turns out that this wasn't a private meeting with just the President, Arthur and Bill. Here I mentioned that that this meeting wasn't as Alter described it with Bush on his knees begging for mercy. According what I've found out so far there WERE a Donkey or two present as well.
However, I cannot get the names just yet. However, the President's meetings are logged with names of everyone who enters that office, and while mostly likely classified, I'm sure someone can "leak" the name .....heh.
Just kidding...I'm working on it.
