Al Qaeda doesn't need to know how to attack us when they have the American Media

WAPO: War Plans Drafted To Counter Terror Attacks in U.S.

While the Washington Post, NY Times and LA Times decry the "Plame Game" and how her "outing" put our national security in jeopardy, they think nothing of spashing our war plans all over the front page.

COLORADO SPRINGS -- "The U.S. military has devised its first-ever war plans for guarding against and responding to terrorist attacks in the United States, envisioning 15 potential crisis scenarios and anticipating several simultaneous strikes around the country, according to officers who drafted the plans.

The classified plans, developed here at Northern Command headquarters, outline a variety of possible roles for quick-reaction forces estimated at as many as 3,000 ground troops per attack, a number that could easily grow depending on the extent of the damage and the abilities of civilian response teams.

The possible scenarios range from "low end," relatively modest crowd-control missions to "high-end," full-scale disaster management after catastrophic attacks such as the release of a deadly biological agent or the explosion of a radiological device, several officers said.

Some of the worst-case scenarios involve three attacks at the same time, in keeping with a Pentagon directive earlier this year ordering Northcom, as the command is called, to plan for multiple simultaneous attacks."

What? Officers giving classified plans for our nation's defense to the media and then the media printing away?

Just swell!

Hey! I wonder, do they give a free subscription to Osama to help him - you know, keep up, and plan some more attacks? Gee, it sure would make his day easier, don't you think?

Well WAPO, Thanks for selling us down the river! Hopefully we dont', but if we do get attacked, I hope I'm still standing so I can come on down and visit the moron who wrote up this piece. I'll have a little something to tell him.

Oh well, this isn't new - these dopes in the MSM have been getting away with leaking our national secrets for years. They call it "Freedom of the Press". I call it "Treason". They call it, "The right of the people to know!" I say, not when it lets the "wrong people know"! How hard is this to figure out?

Time and time again we have the MSM giving up our intel. Putting our covert plans in jeopardy, and our people in danger.

Just for example, in 2000 you had the NY Times website exposing CIA agents. Where was the outrage?

Even more recently the NY Times blew a CIA operation sky high when they told of Aero Contractors' planes that have been used to drop CIA ops all over the world, and were going to be used covertly to transport detainees. I'm still waiting for writers SCOTT SHANE, STEPHEN GREY and MARGOT WILLIAMS to be charged with treason on that fiasco. Make no mistake they not only put the operation in danger but all of those involved.

They question is, how long are we going to let papers like the WAPO and the NYT put us in danger, by selling our intel secrets for seventy-five cents a paper?

A free society doesn't mean you can do what you want without reponsibility. Freedom of the Press was never intended to act counter to our national security. When the two are crossed, freedom must be curtailed.

The justice department needs to get on the ball here. When our National Security is compromised they should bring in the trucks and haul them away, lock, stock and typewriter.
