Taking the Cover off of "That 70s President"

This book review on Stephen Hayward's book, The Real Jimmy Carter: How Our Worst Ex-President Undermines American Foreign Policy, Coddles Dictators, and Created the Party of Clinton and Kerry although from last year, exposes rather nicely ex-president Jimmy Carter for the fraud and danger to America that he was and still is. It's worth a read.

Especially since Mr. Carter (President isn't appropriate), apparently is on a tear lately, coming up with gaffs like this one yesterday at Coretta's funeral:

"The struggle for equality is not over," Carter said. "We only have to recall the color of the faces in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi -- those most devastated by Katrina -- to know there are not yet equal opportunities for all Americans.""

Oh really....?

I wonder if "Mr. Wonderful" knows that the statistics released by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals suggest that fewer than half of the victims of Hurricane Katrina were black, and that whites died at the highest rate of all races in New Orleans?

Again, not only ignorant, but willfully ignorant. Not a mark of leadership - but then this guy never has been or will be a leader except maybe in his home country of Cuba.
