The basics - The Plame Game was a set up from the git-go. It had but one design. When Wilson's trip was ignored and dismissed, another plan was hatched to set the architect of the boondoggle (Plame) to take an imagninary fall - thus an investigation that would hook the President and Vice President of the United States.
Darned if it didn't almost work.
