November hasn't been a good month for Democrats in recent history.
Last week, Patrick 'Elliot Ness' Fitzgerald dropped the ball on their one-yard line, indicting Libby, but little else. No indictment of the war, no Rove being frog marched screaming out of the White House. Nada. On top of that, Harry Reid's pick for the Supreme Court, Harriet Miers withdrew her 'nomination'. Bummer Harry, bummer...
Then yesterday comes the nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito. Oooohh, and if that ain't enough today the Tom Delay trail began it's dump into the toilet with the Judge being removed. Dang it! What's a Democrat to do?
I'll tell you what you do, you throw a fit! Harry says, "Well, if Fitzmas won't come to us, we'll go to Fitzmas"...or something like that.
Harry Reid calls for a Rule 21 closure of the Senate.
I was really going lay it out here, but Lorie Byrd over at Polipundit beat me to it. She says:
"And while we are at it, let’s remind them of all the Clinton administration statements about WMD in Iraq, and the ones from John Kerry, and the U.N., and France and Germany.
And let’s not stop there, let’s put some pressure on the media to ask Joe Wilson about the lies he was caught in by the bipartisan 9/11 Commission and the Senate Intelligence Committee. Bring it on. We have the high ground on this issue if we can get the facts past the media filter. The 60 Minutes and Dateline interviews with Joe Wilson over the weekend were disgraceful. I remember thinking Joe Wilson was history back when the 9/11 commission report and the Senate Intelligence committee reports revealed, through memos and testimony, that he had told a series of lies about his tea sipping adventure in Niger."
She goes further via a commenter:
"Frist should go before the cameras and say:
“America DOES need answers…
- WHY did Sandy Berger steal top secret documents during the 9/11 hearings??
- WHY did Joe Wilson LIE in his Op/Ed…and what did he REALLY find out?
- WHY was Joe Wilson chosen in the first place?
- WHY did Clinton close down Able-Danger…and what did they learn?”
Go Lori Go. As I've said all along, I'm ITCHING for further investigations. Let the truth come out - all the Truth. Mr. Reid, do you really want that?
