Moonbat Professor should be jailed

Gateway Pundit reports that Protein Wisdom is down because a leftist college professor made threats against him and his child. Jeff reported the comments, the Professor has resigned, and now Jeff's site is down due to DOS.

Don't tell me this isn't a war!

Michelle Malkin with more. It looks like the professor has become a sort of professional troll having made a habit of harrassing and threatening.

A reponse from the professor, who apparently is running a little scared at this point.

This may not be over. I am former law enforcement, and in most states communication of a threat is against the law, specifically assault. Unless Jeff is in Arizona, this could turn Federal. In any case Jeff should press charges by contacting his local SAO.

It would be the right thing to do. Blogging is rough business as we give out the heat and take it back in. So be it. We can all agree to disagree and even call each other names as we do, but let's leave the kids, and specifically the threat to hurt them out of it.

UPDATE: Technically assault is: "The threat to inflict injury with an apparent ability to do so. Also, any intentional display of force that would give the victim reason to fear or expect immediate bodily harm. Looking over the comments at blackfive I believe that the law has been broken here.
